The Health4All "Imphilo Yetfu" purpose, is to make Integrative Healthcare accessible to the less privileged members of the Swazi population. The idea originated from a wish to extend the short term field work about the use of essential oils in the care of HIV/AIDS, developed in a local community in Swaziland.
This time, the access to the essential oils is available to all, being or not HIV positive.
The therapeutic strategies integrate different health domains, being the main focus on the use of essential oils. The treatments consist of different personalized types of essential oil formulas. The patients are instructed on how to use these blends, which will be taken home for continuous treatment. The therapeutic strategy often involves other healthcare suggestions, related to nutrition and lifestyle habits.
The treatments can be complementary to conventional treatments, but can be also used alone, depending on the case.
For achieving the project's purpose, mobile clinics will be visiting local communities every month, getting natural healthcare closer to the people.
This is a non-profit independent project. It's not an NGO, and it's not related to any government, corporation or religion. The funding for this project comes mainly from private donations.
