Liliana Macedo holds two aromatherapy certificates, by the Institute of Integrative Aromatherapy (IIA), in the USA, and by the 'Collège International d'Aromathérapie Dominique Baudoux', in Belgium, internationally recognized for being in the forefront of clinical aromatherapy studies, and for his standards of quality and excellence. She is also a certified practitioner of Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage and "M technique". Liliana has been a member of the South African Aromatherapy Association since 2011 and is currently practicing in Swaziland. She frequently visits South Africa to participate in workshops, courses and conferences related to essential oils and aromatherapy.
In Swaziland, Liliana also developed a field study and produced a thesis paper entitled "Essential Oil Therapy in the Care of HIV/AIDS", published in the Canadian aromatherapy magazine Vita Danzare. As an extension to this short duration field work, Liliana founded the Healt4all project, which purpose is to make Integrative Healthcare accessible to the less privileged members of the swazi population.
In 2015, Liliana moved back to Portugal where she practices clinical aromatherapy and facilitates training as well as thematic lectures in scientific aromatherapy.
